O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations. The role includes shift management in the manager’s absence and emphasizes excellent customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred in auto parts environment.
• Automotive systems knowledge is a plus; ASE certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds correctly.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow schedule; verify clock-ins/outs per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money and deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
