Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in automotive parts management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Proficient in CDK and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the parts department, including purchasing, inventory, sales, and profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.
• Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Train and mentor parts department staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Ensure proper inventory levels and efficient stocking practices for service and retail customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department according to company standards.
• Collaborate with other department managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and enforce policies for the parts department to ensure compliance.
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Review pricing strategies to remain competitive.
• Monitor and maintain accurate parts and labor sales records for reporting.
