Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework or degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of automotive parts management experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in CDK and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including purchasing, inventory management, sales, and profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.
• Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Train and mentor parts department staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Ensure proper inventory levels and efficient stocking practices to meet department needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department.
• Collaborate with other department managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for the parts department.
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Review pricing strategies to remain competitive and maintain accurate sales records.
