Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory, support efficient product flow, and keep the store environment clean and organized. The role includes receiving freight, posting stock, conducting cycle counts, shelving, and preparing orders for drivers, customers, and will-call.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of stocking or pulling experience, understand part numbers, write legibly, and be able to operate a computer terminal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year stocking/loading/pulling experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to identify part numbers and source correct parts.
• Must write legibly.
• Basic computer terminal literacy.
• Ability to lift/move parts up to 60 lbs and push/pull 300 lbs.
• Ability to move engine blocks and heavy equipment with moving aids.
• Stand/walk for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull all orders for delivery drivers and for counter customers and will-call with accurate routing.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and product placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
• Maintain housekeeping, packing materials disposal, and safety compliance.
• Use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching, and fulfillment.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as needed.
• Coordinate deliveries and prepare orders for customers and drivers.
