Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory and a smooth product flow in a fast paced store environment. You will receive, post, stock, and organize merchandise, perform cycle counts, and assist customers both in person and over the phone as volume requires.

The role requires basic computer skills to operate inventory systems, the ability to lift heavy parts, and strict attention to accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• Must understand part numbers and codes for correct placement.
• Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 60 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pull all orders for delivery to wholesale customers, main counter, and will-call.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as needed; route products as required.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries using delivery management systems; support logistics.
• Contribute to store operations, merchandising, and efficiency improvements.
