Job summary

LKQ Corporation in the United States is seeking a Sales Associate to promote the sale of new and existing company products, provide customer service, and evaluate customer needs. You will answer questions on parts, pricing, and services while building lasting relationships.

The role emphasizes accurate order entry, knowledge of automotive parts, and clear communication. A High School diploma and 1+ years' experience are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Preferred: college coursework or degree.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
• Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work orders and/or interchange and returns, etc.).
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
• Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).
• Follow-up with customers as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
