Job summary

LKQ Corporation in Shawnee, KS is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a sales/customer service associate to promote parts, answer questions, and support customers.

Essential duties include providing price and part information, processing orders, and following up with customers. A High School diploma is required; 1+ year related experience preferred; bilingual English/Spanish and automotive knowledge are pluses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
• Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
• Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
• Follow-up with customers as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
