Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers in Tupelo, Mississippi. You will assist in stocking, maintaining inventory, and engaging with walk-in customers to understand their needs and promote products and loyalty programs.

The role requires safe driving, good communication, and the ability to learn new products and sales techniques. This is a customer-facing position with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Stock and back stock including truck stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
