Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Crystal Springs, MS is seeking a Driver/Delivery Associate to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to pick up returns and cores. You will also promote current sales and loyalty programs while maintaining a clean store and accurate inventory.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver's license with a clean record, are able to work days/evenings/weekends, and possess strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus). Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
