Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Baytown, TX is seeking a driver/delivery associate to pick, stage, and deliver parts to professional customers and assist in daily store operations. You will collect credit payments, promote sales and loyalty programs, and maintain stock levels across the back room and floors.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers with CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, dusting, and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend parts or services.
