Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pickup returns, and stock back rooms. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist with upselling, and maintain store cleanliness and inventory accuracy. Strong communication and safe driving are essential for success.

You will work days, evenings and weekends as needed, using inventory systems and store equipment to support sales and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
