Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Parts Specialist to provide high levels of service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and staff will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and promote company service programs.

In this role you will handle cash transactions, process exchanges, answer store calls, and assist with daily store operations, including stocking and planogram updates, training, and customer issue

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store calls per policy: look up parts, quote prices, recommend related items, offer Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer; process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
