Job summary

Parts Authority is seeking an Auto Parts Counter Professional to drive inside sales and build lasting customer relationships at our Colorado locations. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will close sales, provide accurate quotes, and ensure orders are fulfilled across installers, fleets, municipalities, and dealers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in counter sales in automotive aftermarket, excellent communication, and proficiency with POS systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in counter sales in a competitive market, preferably wholesale auto parts sales.
• Excellent phone skills with a positive, attentive tone.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with POS systems and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and build long-lasting relationships.
• Close sales to achieve goals and drive growth.
• Provide accurate quotes and follow up on orders.
• Fulfill customer orders from installers, fleets, municipalities, and dealers.
• Locate hard-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for best deals.
• Maintain accurate sales tracking and promote company specials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster new sales opportunities.
