Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA Store in Middletown seeks a friendly Counter Sales associate to assist customers with auto parts, answer questions, and process transactions. You will use your parts knowledge to help teammates and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

You should be comfortable with cash handling and using a computer, phone, and catalog system while maintaining a positive customer experience. Some experience in auto parts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers are essential.
• Willingness to learn all things auto parts and fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone.
• Assist other NAPA team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into the NAPA Store.
