Genuine Parts Company, operating as NAPA, seeks a friendly Counter Sales associate to serve customers in our Merrow, CT store. You’ll be the face of the store at the counter, answering auto parts questions and helping customers find the right parts.

You’ll use computers, a cash register, and a paper catalog, provide great service, and collaborate with the team to ensure a positive customer experience. Valid driver's license and a willingness to learn are required; high school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person at the counter or over the phone.
