Woodhouse Auto Family in Omaha, NE is hiring an Auto Parts Counter Salesperson to assist customers with parts needs, process orders, and maintain product knowledge. The role emphasizes strong customer service, price quotes, and collaboration with shop teams to ensure accurate parts alignment.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Post offer screenings: background check, drug screening, non-DOT driver physical, lift test.

Responsibilities

• Assists all customers (retail, wholesale, and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and ensures exposure to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls within the first three rings, providing price quotes and other information.
• Reviews body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are accurate and pricing aligns with the estimate.
• Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing attention.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits emergency orders when necessary.
• Notifies the body shop when all parts have arrived and delivery timelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
