Job summary

Genuine Parts Company, doing business as NAPA, seeks a Counter Sales associate at our Laie, HI location. You will be the face of the store, helping customers with auto parts, answering questions, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

You will use the computer, cash register, and catalogs to locate parts, with opportunities to grow into more advanced roles within the NAPA family. A valid driver’s license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of auto parts.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions at the counter and over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members to help customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions in-store.
• Engage customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Operate technology including computer, cash register, phone, and paper catalog.
