Job summary

Pick Your Part is hiring Retail Counter Sales People to deliver superior customer service to walk-in customers at our Los Angeles store. You will help customers identify the right auto parts, operate the front counter, and process sales while coordinating with yard staff for parts retrieval.

Ideal candidates have a strong customer service background, solid communication skills, and familiarity with inventory software and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background.
• Effective communication skills.
• High School or GED preferred; college coursework optional.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality in-person service to walk-in customers.
• Assist customers in finding exact auto parts using inventory software.
• Process cash and credit transactions at the front counter (POS).
• Coordinate with yard staff to retrieve parts for customers.
• Set up and maintain displays of popular parts to drive sales.
• Inspect returned parts and process credits or warranty claims.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
