Job summary

Caliber Collision in Hollister, CA, has an immediate opening for an Auto Painter Helper to assist the Auto Painter and prepare vehicles for painting. Duties include sanding, buffing, and keeping the paint booth and workspace clean, with emphasis on safe, thorough prep.

Earn up to $28-29 per hour with overtime eligibility for hourly roles, weekly pay, and benefits from day one including medical, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for Caliber’s insurance policy
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff surfaces as part of the prep process.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace to ensure smooth operations.
• Repair vehicles according to Caliber and OEM standards with safety in mind
