Job summary

Caliber Collision in Bakersfield – Auto Mall is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter and to ensure a smooth workflow across the shop. Duties include sanding and buffing, maintaining the paint booth and workspace, and assisting in repairs to vehicles in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Collision experience and/or Vo-Tech certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter
• Sand and buff surfaces as needed
• Maintain the paint booth and workspace and keep it clean and safe
