Job summary

Caliber Collision in Bakersfield is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the Auto Painter. You will sand, buff, and help maintain the paint booth and workspace while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include 1+ year in paint operations at a collision center, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license with eligibility for Caliber insurance. Training opportunities with I-CAR and ASE are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and eligible for Caliber’s insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff surfaces as part of prep work.
• Maintain the paint booth and workspace for safety and efficiency.
• Assist with vehicle repairs to Caliber and OEM standards as directed.
