Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an on-site Automotive Technician in Birmingham, AL. You will perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of newer vehicles, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, rotations, and basic repairs, while following safety and quality standards.

As you gain experience, you may assist senior technicians and expand your skills toward ASE certification. We offer on-the-job training, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of automotive tech school.
• Must be 18+ and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Basic computer skills including typing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance like oil changes and fluid services.
• Replace tires, rotate tires, and perform basic repairs.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple brands.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
