Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an entry- to mid-level automotive technician in Alcoa, TN. You will perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, fluids, tires, rotations, and basic repairs, while learning across brands.

This on-site position emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability, with training support toward ASE certification and room to grow your automotive skills as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods in a mechanical shop.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles: oil changes, fluids, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs.
• Assist seniors or handle additional tasks as skills grow, across newer vehicles from multiple brands.
• Maintain safety and quality standards to minimize downtime and keep customers on the road.
