Cox Automotive's Manheim location in the USA is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and routine maintenance on a range of vehicles. Day shifts, no remote work, and a focus on hands-on mechanical work.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: ASE Certifications (G1, A4, A5) as required by leadership.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform light-duty auto maintenance work.
• Improve skills in a supportive environment.
• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Change oil and filters, fuel filter, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspection.
• Test and replace batteries; service starting and charging systems.
• Handle tires, safety inspections, and interior/exterior components.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems.
• Evacuate and recharge the AC system.
• Maintain equipment and use approved vendors for parts.
