Job summary

Manheim is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles at a Cox Automotive location. The role offers a $1,500 New Hire Tool Bonus and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

You will gain hands-on experience with oil changes, battery tests, brake service, and electrical system work in a team-oriented shop environment. A valid driver’s license is required and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles; valid driver's license.
• Preferred ASE certifications: G1, A4, A5.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire work and basic inspections.
• Conduct battery testing, maintenance and electrical system testing/replacement.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, steering and suspension components.
• Assist with system evacuations/recharges and general maintenance tasks.
• Utilize approved vendors for parts and may up-fit vehicles as needed.
• Follow procedures for recyclable fluids, tires and waste disposal.
