Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles at an on-site Cox location in Texas. The role emphasizes hands-on work and developing skills in auto maintenance in a supportive environment.

Required: 1+ year of related experience, ability to drive various vehicle types, and a valid driver's license. ASE certifications (G1/A4/A5) are preferred. Drug testing is required before employment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
• Valid driver’s license required
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform light-duty auto maintenance and repairs
• Oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes
• Inspect tires, brakes, electrical systems and steering/suspension
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension
• Evacuate and recharge automotive AC systems
• Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts
