Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on multiple vehicle types. This part-time role requires working a day shift at a Cox location with hourly pay between $20.10 and $30.10, plus potential incentives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light duty auto tech work and strengthen skills in a supportive environment.
• Carry out maintenance tasks such as oil/filter changes, fuel/filter changes, transmission flush, spark plug replacement and vehicle inspections.
• Test/maintain/repair starting and charging electrical systems and batteries.
• Handle tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering and suspension systems.
• Evacuate and recharge AC systems.
• Maintain equipment and source parts from approved vendors.
• May up-fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Comply with procedures on recyclables, fluids, tires, and waste.
