Job summary
Cox Automotive’s Manheim location is hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. The role offers a sign-on bonus and competitive pay with benefits.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of related work experience, the ability to service different vehicle types, and a valid driver's license. ASE training and ongoing career growth are available through Cox Auto University.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience
- Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
- Valid driver’s license required
Responsibilities
- Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices
- Perform auto maintenance tasks including oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspections
- Perform battery testing, maintenance, and replacement; test and repair starting and charging electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems
- Perform maintenance on equipment and evacuations/recharges on AC systems
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts
- May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment
- Comply with procedures regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposal trash
