Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Missouri is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician. This entry-level role supports the shop by performing tire services, oil changes, and basic maintenance while learning from experienced technicians.

You'll complete digital vehicle inspections, document repairs, and help keep the shop clean and safe. Flexible scheduling including weekends is required; comprehensive benefits and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Oil changes and basic maintenance: fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety issues and report findings through proper channels.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; keep shop clean and organized.
• Work weekends as needed and support shop operations.
