Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in Missouri for a full-time role. You will perform oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians.

This entry-level position emphasizes reliability, safety, and a willingness to learn, with paid training and growth opportunities toward advanced technician roles.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused and mechanically inclined; eager to learn foundational shop skills.
• Strong interest in automotive repair.
• Able to follow written procedures, safety standards and store processes.
• Able to work with technicians, service advisors and store leaders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs accurately.
• Identify safety issues and report findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission inspections where applicable.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and ready for customers.
• Assist with transporting customers and parts when directed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; report hazards.
