Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an entry-level Lube and Tire Technician in Missouri. You will perform oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians and leaders.

The role offers paid training, career advancement opportunities, and a union-integrated pathway to more advanced roles. A flexible schedule including weekends is required to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Willing to learn and follow safety standards and shop processes.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document work orders accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop, customer areas, and restrooms clean and customer-ready.
