Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Three years of experience in insurance claims, preferably auto claims.
• Experience with claims management and software systems.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and terminology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to handle complex claims and negotiate settlements.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to a positive insured/claimant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality claim handling of auto claims including contacts, coverage, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution in accordance with policies and state regulations.
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, providers, and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Determine claim eligibility, coverage, liability, and settlement amounts.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of claim files and transactions.
• Identify and elevate potential fraud or complex claims for further investigation.
• Coordinate with investigators, legal, and customer service as needed.
