Job summary

Allcat Claims Service, LLC is seeking an in-office Claims Adjuster in Chandler, AZ to handle auto claims from intake through settlement. You will communicate with policyholders, clients, and vendors, inspect and evaluate loss details, and make coverage decisions within authority. The role emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and timely updates.

The position requires strong customer service and Microsoft Office proficiency, with preferred Bachelor’s degree and current Casualty Adjuster license.

Description

• Provides claims service via internal channels (phone/fax/email/mail) to policy holders on behalf of clients.
• Adjusts simple to moderately complex Auto claims.
• Identify, confirm, and make coverage decisions on claims.
• Investigate loss details, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims within appropriate authority guidelines.
• Clearly document thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.
• Prioritize and manage assigned claims workload to keep policyholders and other involved parties informed and provide timely claims status updates.
• Collaborate and support team members to resolve issues and identify appropriate matters for escalation.
• Acquires and applies basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages and the claim handling process and procedures.
• Ability to maintain discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgement.
• Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe operations as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of customer contact experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational skills.
• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
• Must be accurate and detail oriented.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree
• Current Casualty Adjuster License

  Training Requirements

  Employees attending training are expected to meet Allcat's established standards for performance, attendance, and conduct. Successful completion of all required training programs is mandatory.
