Job summary

Allcat Claims Service, LLC is seeking a Claims Adjuster to handle auto claims from initiation through settlement. The role requires licensing, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Primary responsibilities include investigating losses, evaluating coverages, negotiating settlements, and maintaining detailed documentation. The position is based in Chandler, AZ with a standard day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer contact experience.
• Must pass licensing exam and obtain Insurance Adjuster's license.
• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides claims service via internal channels (phone/fax/email/mail) to policyholders on behalf of clients.
• Adjusts simple to moderately complex Auto claims.
• Identifies, confirms, and makes coverage decisions on claims.
• Investigates loss details, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves claims within authority guidelines.
• Documents thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.
• Maintains timely claims status updates and supports escalation when needed.

Description

Provides claims service via internal channels (phone/fax/email/mail) to policy holders on behalf of clients. Adjusts simple to moderately complex Auto claims. Identify, confirm, and make coverage decisions on claims. Investigate loss details, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims within appropriate authority guidelines. Clearly document thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions. Prioritize and manage assigned claims workload to keep policyholders and other involved parties informed and provide timely claims status updates. Collaborate and support team members to resolve issues and identify appropriate matters for escalation. Acquires and applies basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages and the claim handling process and procedures. Ability to maintain discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgement. Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe operations as needed

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• This position will require an Insurance Adjuster's license.
• You must pass a licensing exam within a designated number of attempts and can become licensed in all applicable states.
• 1 year of customer contact experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational skills.
• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
• Must be accurate and detail oriented.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Current Casualty Adjuster License
• 1+ years of claims investigation, adjusting and resolution.
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Working knowledge and understanding of the auto claims contract as well as application of case law, state laws and regulations.

Training Requirements

Employees attending training are expected to meet Allcat's established standards for performance, attendance, and conduct. Successful completion of all required training programs is mandatory.
