Job summary

Safelite AutoGlass in Greenville, NC is seeking an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee. This position offers comprehensive training to become proficient in auto glass repairs and installations, leading to Safelite certification.

Trainees will learn in a supportive environment, gain hands-on experience, and receive competitive pay starting at $20.25/hour, increasing after certification. A generous benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off is also offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver's license is required.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.

Skills

Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods

Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic tools

Excellent customer service skills

Education

High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred
