Job summary

Glass America in Du Quoin, IL is seeking an Auto Glass Technician. You will install windshields in-shop or on-site, using proper tools to ensure quality and timely service. Maintain paperwork and a safe driving record while delivering excellent customer care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience; a valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform bending/crawling movements.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle glass safely.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace auto glass in shop or on a mobile basis.
• Prepare and complete required paperwork for each job.
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with policies.
• Perform auto glass repairs as needed and ensure quality.
• Load glass, report issues to the Glass Manager, and uphold quality control.
• Provide excellent customer service and operate equipment properly.
