Job summary

Glass America in Merrillville, IN is seeking Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and window glass in motor vehicles, in-shop or on a mobile basis.

You will use proper tools, ensure timely, quality installation, complete required paperwork, and maintain a safe driving record; the role may involve glass repairs and loading glass on trucks, with strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4-6 years of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass and related products in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Uses proper tools and techniques to ensure quality installation.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains safety standards.
• Maintains a safe driving record per company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Loads glass into the truck and coordinates with the Glass Manager.
