Job summary

Rydell Auto Center is seeking a Body Shop Glass Technician to join our growing team in Grand Forks. You will remove and install windshield and body glass, perform NOVUS repairs, and help with calibration setups in a collaborative shop.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of auto glass installation experience (collision or mobile glass experience a plus).
• AGSC Technician certification preferred, or willingness to get it.
• I-CAR training preferred; you’ll be expected to complete the I-CAR courses to maintain Gold Class OEM certification.
• NOVUS chip repair experience preferred.
• ADAS calibration experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install windshields, back glass, door glass, and quarter glass per OEM procedures and ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS standards.
• Prepare pinch welds by trimming urethane, treating bare metal, and applying primers correctly.
• Select appropriate urethane and observe safe drive-away times.
• Refer to OEM repair procedures and calibration requirements for multiple makes.
• Assist with static/dynamic calibrations and setup targets; on-the-job training provided if needed.
• Document work with photos and notes; check parts against order and report additional needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace and follow hazardous materials rules.
