Job summary

Rydell Auto Center in Grand Forks, ND seeks a Body Shop Glass Technician to join the team. The role offers a clean, safe environment and the chance to work across multiple dealership operations.

You will remove/install windshields, prep welds, evaluate OEM procedures, and assist with ADAS calibrations. Training is provided; experience with NOVUS and glass repair is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of auto glass installation experience (collision or mobile glass experience is a plus).
• AGSC Technician certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
• I-CAR training preferred; completion expected to meet OEM certification requirements.
• NOVUS chip repair experience preferred.
• ADAS calibration experience is a plus; training provided on the job.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for calibrations and moving vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install windshields, back glass, door glass, and quarter glass to OEM procedures and ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS 002 standards.
• Prep pinch welds: trim urethane to bead height, treat bare metal and rust, apply primers.
• Select urethane that fits vehicle and conditions; adhere to safe drive-away times.
• Lookup OEM repair procedures and position statements for multiple brands.
• Identify vehicles needing ADAS calibration and flag for calibration team.
• Assist with static and dynamic calibrations; training available on the job.
• Repair rock chips and short cracks using the NOVUS system.
• Remove trim, emblems, and clips without damage; perform minor paint corrections.
• Document work with photos/notes; verify parts; report hidden damage or extra parts needed.
• Keep workspace clean, safe, and compliant with safety/hazardous-material rules.
