Job summary

Safelite in Wisconsin is seeking a Technician Trainee to be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician. You will learn hands-on and through classroom training, with the goal of earning Safelite SafeTech certification and performing glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations under supervision.

The program offers paid training, weekly pay starting at $21.25 per hour rising to $25.25 after certification, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) with company match, medical plans, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in auto glass installation and repair.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostics.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to earn Safelite SafeTech certification.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely; follow policies.
