Job summary

Safelite Group invites motivated individuals to join as a Technician Trainee. You will receive hands-on and classroom training to become proficient in auto glass installation, repair, and recalibration of safety systems.

The program culminates in Safelite SafeTech certification and a strong service mindset. Compensation starts with competitive weekly pay at $21.25/hour, increasing to $25.25/hour after training and certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in tight spaces.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Able to read, write and understand English and follow technical directions.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice Safelite methods through hands-on training.
• Assist with installing and repairing auto glass and recalibrating safety systems.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Complete testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely and professionally.
