Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in Chico, CA. You will be paid to learn through hands-on training and classroom sessions, progressing toward Safelite SafeTech certification. The role focuses on glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations with a strong service mindset.

You will observe, assist, and learn to operate tools, follow safety protocols, and meet quality standards while helping customers. This paid program includes benefits and potential tuition support as you train.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
