Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in Pittsfield, MA to begin comprehensive training that leads to Safelite SafeTech certification. You’ll learn hands-on auto glass repair, replacement, and recalibration while delivering high quality service to customers.

The program includes paid training, progression in pay scales to Senior/Master Tech levels, and a robust benefits package including 401(k), medical plans, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent Preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot and complete diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
