Job summary

Safelite in Apex, North Carolina seeks a certified Repair Specialist I to repair vehicle glass using our industry-leading technology and Safelite practices. You will learn the Safelite Way of Fitting under expert guidance, focusing on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceeding customer expectations.

You will manage work orders, communicate with customers, and operate Safelite tools and technology. The role includes driving duties, paid training, and access to a robust benefits package,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (state-issued) required.
• On-the-job Safelite SafeTech certification required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform in various weather conditions and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair vehicle glass (classroom and hands-on) with guidance from experienced technicians.
• Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication via Safelite MRМ technology.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools and chemicals throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Education

High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred

Valid state-issued driver’s license

On-the-job Safelite SafeTech certification
