Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Overview

Diehl Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Glass Installation Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include installing and repairing glass components on various vehicles, working independently with attention to detail. This is a full-time, hourly position requiring industry knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

1. Remove and replace damaged or broken glass on vehicles
2. Inspect and assess the condition of glass components
3. Determine the appropriate glass for repairs or replacements
4. Prepare and clean the installation site
5. Install new glass using proper tools and techniques
6. Test and ensure proper function of all glass components
7. Repair small chips and cracks in glass when possible
8. Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle repairs
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area
10. Stay updated with industry advancements and techniques

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. At least 2 years of auto glass installation experience
3. Knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and glass types
4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
6. Basic hand and power tool knowledge
7. Good time management and organizational skills
8. Valid driver’s license with a clean record
9. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
