$18.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Overview

Diehl Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Glass Installation Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include installing and repairing glass components on various vehicles, requiring auto industry knowledge and problem-solving skills. The role is full-time and hourly, with an emphasis on independence and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay: $18 - $23, paid biweekly. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace damaged or broken vehicle glass
• Inspect and assess glass condition
• Determine appropriate glass for repairs or replacements
• Prepare and clean installation sites
• Install new glass using proper tools
• Test glass components for proper function
• Repair small chips and cracks
• Communicate with customers about vehicle repairs
• Maintain a clean work area
• Stay updated on industry techniques

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of auto glass installation experience
• Knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and glass types
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Basic tool knowledge
• Good time management
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime
