Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, receives assignments and reviews claim and policy information to provide background for investigation.
• Interviews insureds and obtains statements to secure necessary claim information.
• Evaluates facts to determine extent of liability and company obligation.
• Prepares reports on investigation, settlements, denials, and exposures.
• Sets reserves within authority and discusses progress with Team Leader.
