Job summary

ESIS, Inc. in Overland Park, KS, seeks an experienced Auto, General & Liability (AGL) Senior Claim Representative to manage and settle AGL claims under supervision.

You will handle claim files, conduct background investigations, and coordinate with insureds and vendors to resolve matters promptly and fairly. You will review policy information, interview involved parties, set reserves, and prepare detailed reports for the Team Leader while ensuring compliance with best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience handling auto, general and liability claims.
• Ability to investigate and settle claims under supervision.
• Experience documenting investigations and reserving decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review claim and policy information to support investigation.
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses to secure information.
• Appraise damage and arrange appraisal as needed.
• Evaluate facts to determine extent of liability and company obligation.
• Prepare investigation and settlement reports.
• Set reserves within authority and recommend changes.
• Review progress with Team Leader and address issues.
• Direct defense counsel for litigated files to achieve best outcomes.
• Obtain releases, proofs of loss, and issue payments.
• Inform claimants of denial when applicable.
