Job summary

ESIS is seeking an AGL Claims Representative to manage commercial auto and general liability property damage claims for client accounts. You will investigate bodily injury claims, interview insureds and witnesses, and determine policy obligations under the line of business.

Reporting to the Claims Team Leader, you will prepare reports, set reserves, review claim progress, and strive for fair settlements while adhering to best practice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting claim investigations and compiling evidence.
• Ability to interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, and professionals.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of policy obligations and liability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review claim and policy information to prepare investigations.
• Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses to gather information.
• Arrange for appraisal of damaged property and review damages.
• Assess liability and company obligations under the policy.
• Prepare investigations, settlements, denials, and evaluations.
• Set reserves within authority and discuss changes with Team Leader.
• Communicate claim progress and challenges with Team Leader.
• Suggest improvements to claims handling processes.
• Settle claims promptly and fairly.
