Job summary

ESIS seeks an AGL Claims Representative to manage commercial auto and general liability property damage claims for client accounts. Reporting to the Claims Team Leader, you will investigate and resolve bodily injury claims promptly, fairly, and in accordance with established best practice guidelines.

• Under limited supervision, review claim files and policy information to support investigations.
• Contact, interview, and obtain statements from insured individuals, claimants, witnesses, medical professionals, and others to gather information.
• Arrange appraisal of damaged property.
• Review and evaluate property damages.
• Assess facts from investigations to determine liability and policy obligations.
• Prepare reports on investigations, settlements, denials, and evaluations of involved parties.
• Set reserves within authority limits and suggest reserve changes to the Team Leader.
• Review the progress of claims with the Team Leader and discuss challenges and solutions.
• Prepare and submit unusual or potentially undesirable exposures to the Team Leader.
• Assist the Team Leader in developing improved methods for handling claims.
• Settle claims promptly and fairly.
